Placements and Internships
- Generally, companies like Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Xebia and few other companies like HPCL visit our campus every year.
- They offer Rs 3-5 lakh per annum package on average to students. 50-60 % of students in software streams get job and campusing in core branches are very less.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are around 16 hostels in our campus. you have to pay Rs 2000 per month for hostel and whatever your mess bill comes.
- You can have your lunch and dinner outside also. They are various shops nearby. It will cost Rs 30 per meal.
- Libary is very large with lots of books. Labs and classroom are well equipped.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- You have to give west Bengal joint entrance exam and score at least 70-80 marks out of 200 to get streams of your choice.
- I attended counselling and added my AIEEE rank also. I was awarded computer science and engineering stream. My rank in AIEEE was 49975.
Academics and Faculty
- Method of teaching is nice. There are few good professors who teaches well.
- Overall experience will be nice. Haldia is a very nice place neither too rural nor too townish. Pleasant weather with cool breeze.
Fees and Scholarships
- Course fee is around Rs 80,000 thousand per annum. If you avail hostel facility, Rs 2000 per month for hostel.
- Under WBFS scheme few students get scholarship.
- On average, 2 student from every dept is given scholarship
Clubs and Associations
- There are many societies in college like CSI student branch, IEEEbranch.
- Every year sports day is organised along with all type of tournaments throughout year like football tournament, chess, badminton, volleyball, basketball, etc.
- In general college life is very nice. There is a gym also, so you can keep yourself healthy.
