Entrance Exams & Admissions : I got into this college via CET entrance examination. I had secured 14700 rank and got selected for chemical engineering. The chemical engineering department of BMSCE was eastablished in 1996. It is a core department. It offers good placements but it is bit difficult to get a core profile job since competition is high and few core chemical companies visit. Otherwise the academics are pretty good and professors are friendly and cooperative.
