Many hostels are there except one in the campus. Hostels are with average prices and the food in college is expensive, quality is average.
Eligibility criteria for admission are either to score a merit rank in the class 12th results or have eligibility rank in UPESEAT exam which is held separately.
The daily routine is a bit hectic and to get good teachers it depends on luck. The experience in the college is above average.
It's very expensive comparatively and the placements and results are not worth the fee structure.
ACM, CSI, MUN etc are the different clubs and societies in the college. There is only one fest named Uurja that is held. In general, the college is okay.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Class XII and then UPESAT/JEE ,cutoff varied as it was based on marks scored in entrance exam as well as XII class
Placements & Internships : Placements are good. 98% of the students in my class got placed in the top companies such as L&T, Fiserv, VMware, Microsoft etc
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for UPES is minimum 60% marks in CBSE boards. Also, admission is taken through UPESEAT exam too. I took the UPESEAT exam to get into the University. For my course cutoff is approx 9000 rank. This is because the University is having domain specific computer science branches due to which seats get increased.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Through entrance exam or board merit/JEE Main scores. 80% of the seats are reserved for those who are allotted on the basis of entrance examination and the remaining 20% will be through board merit or JEE Main scores. The eligibility criteria of UPESEAT 2018 should be checked by the candidates before filling the application form. The candidates should have secured at least 60% marks at Higher and Senior Secondary Level (10th and 12th). Should have scored minimum 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at Senior Secondary level (12th). Non-Exam Pathway (up to 20% Seat Distribution) Board Merit: The candidates should have secured minimum 80% marks in 10th and 80% in 12th standard (or equivalent examination) in PCM. An aggregate to 80% should also have scored in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at Senior Secondary Level (12th standard).
