Internship opportunities are provided by School Of Communication, Manipal. Campus placement is excellent and companies like Uber, Cognizant, Thomson Reuters, Glitch, Ad Factors and Social Panga come for recruitment. The average salary per year is INR 2,00,000 rupees per annum. The highest starting salary is INR 6.5-7 lakhs per annum.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

There are 21 hostel blocks in School Of Communication. The furnishing of the hostels superb and hygienic. The hostel fee depends on the type of hostel you stay in, for example, triple sharing common bath, double sharing with attach bathroom, single and luxurious rooms. The food quality is average and the fee for the mess is forty thousand per year. The quality of classrooms is good, with centralised AC and the library has a varietry of books.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

The admission procedure is done online. There is no entrance test for the NRI/Foreign category. Admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination at School of Communication, Manipal.

Academics and Faculty

Classes begin at 9 am and end at 5 pm at School Of Communication. The assignments and projects that are given by the professors are relevant and helps in developing more knowledge about the subject. The quality and method of teaching are commendable as the professors are extremely experienced.

Fees and Scholarships

The course fee for the NRI/Foreign category is INR 3 lakhs and above. There are no scholarship options at School Of Communication. The State Bank of India offers student loans to deserving/meritorious students of premier and reputed institutions recognized by the bank. The repayment period for the loan has been raised from 7 years to 12 years.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : It's one of the top ten colleges which offer a degree in media and communication. They conduct an entrance exam is actually not that difficult to clear. I wrote the exam back in 2017 when the entrance exam was for 100 marks and the seats were given to students according to their respective ranks. They offer only 120 seats a year but if you manage to secure a rank of anything below 250 then you would most probably get a seat.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility to study at School of Communication, Manipal comprises of the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) and an aggregate of 50% in AISSCE or similar exams. There is also the option of NRI admissions subject to availability of seats and an increased fee.  MET is a fairly competitive exam with questions covering Science, Maths and language abilities.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : There is one University online entrance exam called MU OET 2018. I had just cleared my 12th and the cutoff required is 55%.
