Placements and Internships
- Campus placement is not up to the mark at Gautam Buddha University.
- Eventually, students have to go for off-campus placement. University states to have collaboration with many I.T. Companies such as TCS, TATA, HCL etc. Hopefully, in near future, we'll see such eminent companies in our campus for placements.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Everything is available and the infrastructure is modern and up to date in Gautam Buddha University. One of the best campuses that I have seen. There is nothing negative about commuting facilities. Everything is nearby from malls to general stores.
Academics and Faculty
- This is a for a masters program in Software Engineering so the course daily schedule at Gautam Buddha University is quite relaxing but we were kept busy at all times regarding our major project and research work. Classes started from 9h and almost after 14h we are calling off the day with a few assignments to be completed at the hostel. There were two domain for Computer Science students to choose from i.e., Software Engineering and ISR and basically the students had complete flexibility in choosing a particular domain. Tests were held regularly throughout the course and students were evaluated on overall performance based on written tests, assignments and oral presentations. Teachers provided all relevant study material for each student and other reference books could be easily borrowed from the library for an interval of a semester or 15 days. All teachers and staff were highly professional and they tried to give personal attention to students(except some guest faculties). Even outside of the classroom students could maintain a friendly relationship with the professors, creating a good feeling of camaraderie.
- The quality and method of teaching along with the practical approach to studies was fine. There was an average mix of theory, practice and oral presentations providing the students with a strong technical base. The major focus will always be a student's project and the research paper.
Fees and Scholarships
- Academic course fee per academic session for M.Tech is Rs.95000 at Gautam Buddha University. U.P. government provide financial help to students belonging to SC/ST categories and BPL students belonging to general, OBC and Minorities.
Clubs and Associations
- 10/10 on Gautam Buddha University. Many student associations with a lot of activity around the year. The people are very helpful and friendly. If you happen to join the school you will have the chance to experience it yourself! Again amazing. A lot of clubs-dramatics, literary, dance, music, sports, adventure club etc. There are different stadiums in the campus from international cricket stadium, hockey stadium, football stadium etc. The count is endless. No One university can beat up this university when it comes to its clubs and infrastructural facilities.
