Alumni Network is not very strong and active. The placement of the college is one of the best among DU, big names like RBS, Google, KPMG recruit from DCAC but all of the above recruiters prefer students from B.com(Hons) or Eco(Hons) courses. The average package is INR 3.5 lakhs per annum and the highest one being is INR 5.8 lakhs.
There are no hostels in the college campus.However, there are PGs available outside the campus and charge is INR 15,000 per month. The college campus is fairly very small as compared to other DU colleges. Although DCAC features a top-notch library and auditorium, other infrastructure like classrooms, labs, etc are average.
Admission to B.com(Hons) is totally cutoff based. Students don't have to give an entrance test. Above 95% in the 12th standard will get a seat at Delhi College of Arts and Commerce.
The quality of teaching and the methods are average. Teachers are on leave frequently and classes are conducted at best 3 days a week. Assignments and internal exams are a big part of the curriculum and students have to go through them on a regular basis.
The fees for b.com(Hons) is INR 10,000 per year. The college does not offer any scholarship but gives concessions to reserved casts.
Socities are a big part of the DCAC life. Most of the students prefer joining them over doing internships as they get more experience and exposure working with a society. Annual College fest takes place once every year.

Placements & Internships : I haven’t done any internship yet. I don’t know much about the companies taking part in the recruitment drive and salary offered by them. We have good alumni network.
