Since it's a medical college almost everyone goes for PG. Still, when you're from jipmer it's easy to get a job.
There are over 6 hostels and fee is about 6000 per year. Food typically ranges from 2500 to 5000 per month. Quality of infrastructure is great.
Jipmer has an entrance exam of its own, being an autonomous university. It comprises of physics, chemistry, biology, English, and aptitude in the form of Mcqs. The rank you secure decides your eligibility.
Theory classes 2-3 hours. 3 hours clinical postings/ 2 hours dissection. Quality is great. Experience is wonderful.
It's around 6000 - 10,000 per year plus hostel charges Various state scholarships are available. Since the fee is fair, there's no need for a loan.
There's the Jipmer students association with loads of clubs. There's cultural fests, holi and other celebrations Life's very good.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There's a Hostel Complex with a sufficient number of hostels say around 3 for boys and 2 for girls with a common facility building having a common mess, gym There are rooms outside for rent but it'll cost you around INR 10-15 thousand per month. Coming to food it's same as any other hostel food. Not so great but ok to survive. There are around 3 mess facilities with the price varying from 2100 to 2850 per month. Classrooms and labs are awesome. The library is one of its own kind. There's high-speed WiFi in hostels but they are planning on putting it to entire campus soon.
Academics & Faculty : The quality and method of teaching is good. My overall experience in this college is marvelous.
