Placements and Internships
There is a dedicated Alumni Network. -On-Campus internships cater only 30percent of the populous ranging from INR 6k to a whopping INR 50000 per month stipend, but there's a huge market for DTU students outside the campus. Both for technical (Computers, Electronics Core, Mechanical), and non-technical (Consultant, Supply Chain) -On-Campus placements cover 80percent of the Populus. College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
6 Senior + 2 Junior Boys Hostels (intake capacity - around 1500) -2 Girls Hostel + 3 Flat-Types Girls Hostels (intake capacity - around 500) - the Adequate number of PGs all around the Campus both for boys and girls -Food in canteens is well-priced, nutritious and delicious. 3 Major canteens/hot spots.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
You Enter via the scores (and rank) of JEE Mains. Held every year during April. Prior to 2012, entry was based on AIEEE, but this mode is obsolete now. Below is the approx General Category rank cutoff for various branches COE - 6k IT-10K SE-12K ECE-14K MCE-13K ME-16K ENE-30K EP-40K.
Academics and Faculty
Flexible Timings. -official timings : 9:00 am-6:00 PM -you have a maximum of 6hr of classes per day, many times it's even lesser -Best Faculties in 2nd and 3rd years, in core departments (ECE, ME, EEE). Coding Branches suffer BCS of an excessive number of student intake. -Labs follow continuous evaluation system, which means better learning. -Overall a balanced (and majorly chill) faculty and education quality.
Fees and Scholarships
around INR1.5lpa INR 1yr 1.25lakh 2yr 1.37lakh 3yr 1.5lakh 4yr 1.6lakh -fee concessions and caste-based scholarships available, but they need to allude to the govt policies. -Tier-1 college, so easily available bank loans from all major banks.
Clubs and Associations
The best thing about DTU has to be the student activities and the culture. We have a great deal of autonomy in starting, joining, and maintaining societies. -All major International Tech Societies: IEEE, ASME, ASCE, (and others) -Other tech society: Society of robotics (SRDTU).

Entrance Exams & Admissions : DTU take students from the exam named JEE MAIN(Joint entrance exam). There are different eligibility criteria for this exam depending upon your cast. But you must have to clear your 12th Board to get the admission. There is the different cutoff for the different cast.
