I have just started so I do not have any knowledge about thethe internships or salaries. Once I have spent more time, I'll surely update the answer.
There are no hostels. The rent of PG is INR 15-16k for a good 1BHK. The classrooms are not bad. Labs are very well-known( keep in mind, this is a govt. College). The campus is WiFi enabled.
For my course, the best of four was taken for PCB and English. Applications were filled online through the DU admission portal. I did not give any entrance exam. The typical first cutoff pattern I have seen over the past few cutoff lists (2015-17) is 91-92% (achievable).
Class timings vary. Sometimes, the classes start at 8:30 am, on other days at 11 am. The classes finish between 3:30-4:30 pm. Classes are 5 days a week. The timetable for all even semesters (2nd,4th etc) are the same. Same for the odd semesters. The quality and method of teaching is very high. The teachers are very warm, unlike some other colleges. My overall experience has been very satisfactory. :)
The course fee is 60,000-70,000 INR/year. Scholarships are not particularly beneficial but a lot of seats are reserved for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Kasmir Migrants/ disabled students. Loans may or may not be needed. I don't need to take a loan as I am, fortunately,f inancially well-off.
Dance, music, band, quiz, book clubs are there. There are student union and various sports teams. Basically, everything is there for you to have a great college experience. There are lists of fest also.
