I being a first-year undergrad haven't done any of the internship programs. Companies ranging from various domains hire from the institute. In fact, the college has been ranked 9th in NIRF ranking 2018 in graduate outcome criteria. The average salaries of the graduate range from INR 12-20lacs. The highest package of 2017-18 is INR 1.39 crore. Moreover, about 85-90% candidate who appeared in the campus placements were offered with decent job offers.
It's awesome, unique and gives the feeling of a traditional space. With the sufficient number of the hostel of around 17-18 hostels and also it's often regarded as that our hostel's mess' food is the best food provided in entire India by any hostel. The fee is quite stable. classrooms, labs, libraries etc are quite awesome . just enjoying here on the beautiful campus.
The admission procedure is same as the procedure to get admitted in an IIT. Students need to appear for JEE(Mains) and further appear for IIT-JEE(Advanced) to get admitted in the college. The ranks obtained in JEE (MAINS) by the students are used for getting admitted NITs, IIITs and GFTIs while the rank of JEE(Advanced) are used for IITs admission.
Classes are held with punctuality and courses are covered properly under proper tutorship. By maintaining the proper conversation with the tutors a student can avail the best quality and the method of teaching is as same as every college in India. However, the overall experience of learning in the Institute is of worthy mention.
The fee details vary with the category. However, there are various scholarship opportunities provided by the institute and its alumni network in spite of the government schemes of scholarships. With various scholarship schemes available, about 35-40 % students get availed for institutional-based scholarship while the remaining can as well avail for other government scholarships. Also, various loans are provided for students by SBI with interesting return policies.
The college has its Gymkhana which has 5 councils - 1. Sports Council, 2.Cultural council, 3.Science, and Technology Council, 4.Film and Media Council, and 5. Social service council. Each council is composed of various clubs where students get engaged in various activities. Spardha is the annual sports fest and it is India's largest sports festival. Kashiyatra is the annual cultural festival while Technex which is Asia's oldest techno-management festival. Also, FMC weekend, India's first and largest college-based Digital Arts festival along with numerous events are conducted in the institute. Life here is awesome.
