About Armed Forces Tribunal
The armed forces tribunal was inaugurated by the President of India on 8th August 2008. It was formed as a result of the Armed Forces Tribunal Act of 2007. It deals with complaints to commission, appointments, enrolments, and conditions of service in respect of persons subject to the Army, Navy, and Air Force acts in India. The principal bench of AFT is situated in New Delhi but it also has benches in Chandigarh, Lucknow, Kolkata, Guwahati, Chennai, Kochi, Mumbai, and Jaipur. | Private Secretary | The candidate must be holding analogous posts regularly in the parent cadre or department; or a post in Level- 6 of the Pay Matrix (Rs 35400-112400) with five years of regular service in the grade. |
