The Indian Navy has released the notification for the entry course of B.Tech Cadet on its official website. A few details related to the course are shared below for the convenience of the candidates:

Educational Qualification
The required qualification for the available course is as follows:
- The candidates must have passed 10+2 with a 70% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Also, the candidate must have scored at least 50% marks in English in 10th/ 12th. In addition, such candidates who appeared for JEE-Mains (2022)/ SSB can also apply.
Age Limit
The applying candidate must be born between July 2, 2023, to Jan 1, 2024.
The candidates will be shortlisted based on their ranks in SSB/ JEE Mains. The shortlisted candidates will be further called for an interview. The interview will be held in the following places:
- Bangalore
- Kolkata
- Bhopal
- Vishakhapatnam
The interview will be held from Mar-May 2024.
Medical Test
The candidates will also be required to go through certain medical tests at the allotted medical centres.
All the shortlisted candidates will undergo a training of four years, i.e., the B.Tech course. The training will be offered in the following disciplines:
- Applied Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electronics and Communication Engineering
After completion of the course, the degrees will be awarded by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). Whereas, the cadets will be allotted as per the policy. Throughout the training, the entire expense of the candidates (such as clothing, messing, training, books, and materials) will be borne by INC.
