IRMS Recruitment Process 2024
The UPSC IRMS will be conducting a preliminary examination in the year 2020. The UPSC IRMS exam date is tentatively scheduled for 2024.
Candidates for the Indian Railway Accounts Service, Indian Railway Traffic Service, Indian Railway and the Indian Railway Personnel Service were recruited from the Civil Services Exam (CSE) and Indian Engineering Service (IES) exam. From 2024 there will be a common preliminary exam for the Railway Service, and the mains examination for engineers will be based on their specialized domain expertise and not general studies.
