Educational Qualification
- Matriculation/ 10th pass [i.e. Applicants must have passed class 10 exams with passing marks in Mathematics, Local Language, and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) from a Govt certified Board of School Education.]
- Studied the Local Language, i.e. Hindi at least up to Secondary standard [as compulsory or elective subjects].
- Knowledge of Computer
- Knowledge of Cycling
Age Limit
- 18 to 40 years as on 11th June 2023.
Age Relaxation
- 03 years for OBC, 05 years for SC/ ST, 10 years for GEN PwD, 13 years for OBC PwD, and 15 years for SC/ ST PwD Candidates.
- No relaxation in the upper age limit for EWS candidates

- The selection of eligible candidates is to be done based on their marks obtained in the 10th class examination of approved Boards aggregated to percentage to the accuracy of 04 decimals.
- The DOP will not conduct any Aptitude Tests or Interviews for Branch Post Master, Assistant Branch Postmaster & Dak Sevak vacancies.
- Candidates with higher educational qualifications will not get weightage for finalizing the selection.
