Bay Path University offers a number of admissions choices that are customised to traditional and continuing education students' specific needs. Because BPU recognises that some students may need more time to choose the proper college than others. It offers "rolling admissions," which allows students to apply whenever they are ready, as long as space is available. Bay Path University Admission Requirements

Bay Path University offers admission in three categories namely undergraduate students, graduate students and international students. It offers rolling admission with an acceptance rate of 78%. The eligibility requirements largely vary for admission to the Residential College, American Women’s College, and Graduate College.

Undergraduate Admission at Bay Path University

Successful applicants for baccalaureate degree programmes have typically completed a minimum of four academic courses each year in a college preparatory high school curriculum. Four years of English, three years of mathematics (algebra I and II, geometry or equivalent), two or more years of laboratory science, and three or more years of social studies (including US history) are necessary.

Eligibility Criteria for International Students

  • Candidates who have graduated from a public high school in Massachusetts must take the MCAS exam
  • A high school diploma or a G.E.D. from a recognised high school is required of candidates
  • Candidates from non-accredited high schools may apply; however, further documents may be required to evaluate the academic strength and legitimacy of the institution and/or programme
  • An academic plan and performance history approved by the student's local Board of Education or school committee may be substituted for an official transcript if the student is home-schooled

Graduate Admission at Bay Path University

Bay Path University accepts transfer students with more than 12 college credits, including graduates of two-year colleges. Academic and personal achievement, as well as motivation, are used to evaluate transfer applicants. Current students at The American Women's College who are thinking about transferring to the Residential College do not need to apply. Instead, they must submit a Division Change Form that includes the necessary approvals.

Eligibility Criteria for International Students

Graduate students are accepted based on their academic and personal achievements, as well as their motivation.

  • At the time of completion of their associate's degree, students must have a 2.0 cumulative grade point average
  • Students interested in enrolling in the Joint Admissions Program must express their interest before completing their Associate's Degree and sign a Joint Admissions Agreement with the counsellor at their participating community institution
  • Current students at The American Women's College who are thinking about transferring to the Residential College do not need to apply. Instead, they must submit a Division Change Form that includes the necessary approvals

Bay Path University Application Process for International Students

International students (those who require a student visa from the US government to enter the country) are accepted at the Residential College. Based on the number of previously completed college credits, international students will be classified as first-year or transfer students. To be admitted to the Residential College, international students must submit supplementary paperwork.

  • Official English high school (secondary school) transcript with a "C" or better overall average
  • Official score record from the TOEFL internet-based test (iBT), IELTS, or Duolingo demonstrating English competence (for non-native English speakers)
  • Minimum score requirements are 76 for the TOEFL iBT, 5.5 for IELTS, and 44 for Duolingo
  • Certified bank statement (in English and converted to US dollars) demonstrating acceptable financial assistance
  • Two recommendation letters (academic)
  • Thesis (1-2 pages, typed)
  • Official transcripts from all prior schools and universities (if applicable)
  • A $300 deposit is required (in U.S. dollars upon acceptance)

Bay Path University Application Deadlines

New students are encouraged to deposit and finish the enrolling procedure at least ten days before the start of classes. However, new students can still be considered for their accepted semester if they deposit and complete the enrollment process by the conclusion of the first week of school. There are no exceptions or extensions because this policy is in place to protect the student and allow for adequate orientation to the University. The application deadline is May 1 and the application fee at Bay Path University is $25.

By making a written request to Student Financial Services prior to June 1 (for fall entrants) and November 1 (for Spring entrants) of the ensuing academic year, deposits from new, incoming students who choose not to attend BPU are entirely refunded. Acceptance Rate at Bay Path University

Admission at Bay Path University is competitive, with a 78% acceptance rate. Half of the Bay Path applicants had an SAT score of 940 to 1170 or an ACT score of 19 to 25. However, one-quarter of those who were accepted earned scores that were higher than these ranges, while the other quarter received lower scores.
