Longwood has a long history, yet its curriculum has changed drastically over the last two centuries. President W. Longwood University campus is about 150 miles southwest of Washington, in Farmville, Virginia. Longwood University students can take part in annual activities like the Snowball winter festival and join one of the more than 125 student clubs on campus.
Longwood University is a baccalaureate and master's degree-granting institution accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
