Financial Aid and Scholarships at Ursinus College

Ursinus College provides financial assistance to 99% of its students through scholarships or based on merit. These merit scholarships are awarded by the Office of Admission to the students based on their academic achievements and leadership potential. The students who have achieved a cumulative grade point of 2.0 CGPA are eligible for these scholarships. The financial aid application is due on 1st February. These financial services are renewed every year. Every first-year Ursinus student is considered for two kinds of scholarships:

• Non-Stackable: This kind of Scholarship differs according to the courses. The applicants who score 1250+ in their SAT or who have a GPA of 3.85 or higher, receive a scholarship of $35,000/year.
• Stackable: This is a legacy scholarship given to the children, siblings, grandchildren, nieces, or nephews of those who are already the Ursinus Students or the Alumni Students. They are awarded a token amount of 2,500.
• Specialty Scholarships: Speciality Scholarships are eligible for the first-year incoming students for those who cannot afford admission fees. They have to undergo a lot of formalities and fill up a separate application to receive the scholarship.
