Admission at the University of Missouri is selective with a low acceptance rate. Students need to satisfy the admission requirements. There are different requirements pertaining to undergraduate and graduate admissions for domestic students and international students.
An ACT score of 31 (SAT 1360) and either a top 15% class rank or a 3.58 core GPA in high school. An ACT score of 30 (SAT 1330) AND either a top 10% class rank or a 3.74 core GPA in high school. An ACT score of 29 (SAT 1290) and either a top 5% class rank or a 3.91 core GPA in high school.
UMKC offers more than 125 undergraduate courses in the field of engineering & computing, medicine, arts, science, law, education, and management. As part of their high school core requirements, all freshman applicants should have completed four units of english, four units of mathematics, three units of science, three units of social studies, two units of a single foreign language, and one unit of fine arts.
Eligibility Criteria for International Students
Graduate applicants at UMKC should have a four-year bachelor's degree or a first-level professional degree comparable to a four-year bachelor's degree in the United States. The Ministry of Education or the Commission responsible for the country's higher education should recognize and approve degrees from non-US colleges.
