The CUSAT application process requires candidates to visit the institute's official website and fill out the CUSAT application form. Steps to Apply for CUSAT Admission
Candidates should fill out the Cochin University of Science and Technology application form by following the steps outlined below:
- Step 1: Candidates must first register for the exam to create a login ID and password.
- Step 2: Carefully read the instructions before pressing the "Start Registration" button. Enter information such as your name, father's name, email address, phone number, and so on.
- Step 3: As stated in the previous section, upload the applicant's scanned photo and signature.
- Step 4: Candidates should choose the courses they want to take.
- Step 5: After submitting the course information, a brief preview will be displayed.
- Step 6: The candidate must then pay the fees according to their categories using a debit/ credit card or net banking.

CUSAT Selection Process 2024
Admission to all undergraduate courses is based on the CUSAT CAT, while lateral entry for B.Tech programs requires the candidates to pass the CUSAT LET exam. Here are more details pertaining to program-specific CUSAT admission criteria and selection process:
- For admission to the M.Tech program, the selection process requires applicants to qualify for the GATE exam.
- For admission to MCA, M.Sc, MA the selection process is based on the candidate's qualifying marks in the CUSAT CAT test.
- For admission to the MBA, the selection process requires candidates to pass the Kerala KMAT, CAT conducted by IIM, or the CMAT conducted by AICTE. Further, the final selection is based on group discussion and personal interview rounds.
- For admission to PhD courses, the selection criteria are based on the DAT entrance exam, merit in the qualifying exam, and interview process. Candidates with valid GATE/NET scores are exempted from submitting DAT scores.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : There was CAT exam for CUSAT entrance. Eligibility was plus two marks. My rank was 361.
Placements & Internships : I have done a one week internship on Internet of things. Placements are high in this campus. Various companies like LNT, Apple are coming every year. Average salary is about 10 lakhs per year.
Fees & Scholarships : Our course fee is 25k to 26k. Students are getting all central sector scholarships, egrant,s etc. Half of the batch is getting scholarship.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 6 hostels for girls and 7 for boys. Hostel fee is about 2.5k per month, including food. PGs are also available at many ranges. Food in the college is average. It costs around Rs.40. Classrooms and labs are of high quality, all other infrastructures are excellent.
Clubs & Associations : There are many clubs including IRES, nature club, NSS,etc. Main festivals are DISHNA, sargam, etc. Life in the college is good and enjoyable.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : In order to get into cusat, you must write their entrance known as cat (common admission test). Here admission can only be taken as per merit no management seats are there. It's a government college. To write the entrance you must have qualified +2 and should score an aggregate of 65 percentage in physics chemistry and maths. Students must score a minimum of 10 in physics chemistry and maths to qualify the entrance you will be given a rank but it wouldn't guarantee admission in cusat.
Placements & Internships : There are a lot of placements going on here among them BTech ship technology students and BTech fire and safety students get high packages which are higher or on par with the top IITs. CS and IT also have a great package percentage. As per data Btech ship, technology's minimum placement is 24 LPA and the maximum is around 72 LPA.
Fees & Scholarships : There are two fee structures one as state merit which is for Keralites as the campus is situated in Kerala and all India merit where students outside Kerala can take admission, as well as Keralite students, can also take admission over there. State merit is around 22,000 per semester and 44,000 for all India and 55,000 for NRI students. Scholarships are provided by campus and if you want to take a loan you should give a form to the principal as per his data you will get a loan from any bank it's an easy process.
Academics & Faculty : Classes begin from 9 and end at 4 Quality of education is top class except some of the teachers. The experience of the college is wonderful.

Placements & Internships : Will get internship opportunities in Robotics, Instrumentation (Kochin shipyard), Keltron (Kannur). I have done an internship in robotics. IT companies, Manufacturing companies and automation companies mostly come for providing placement. Average salary will be INR 3.2L/annum, and 40 percent of students get placed
Fees & Scholarships : I got admission in merit seat so my fees was INR 5000-6000/year. For management, it is INR 35k to 40k per year and for NRI seats it is INR 75k to 1 lakh per year. Top rank scholarships, ie, students who achieved top rank in entrance exam only pay INR 1000/year If there are 6 departments, 12 students get this scholarship. ie, 2 students from each department. Loans are available from govt. banks only.
Academics & Faculty : Class timings are from 9.00 AM to 4.30 PM. Six hours a day. Projects or labs will take three hours a day. Daily assignments and class works will be given by faculties. Quality is good, as by rating I can give 3/5. The method of teaching is 2.5/5. The best experience I ever had in my life. The infrastructure, compound, cafeteria and so on. Its is a great platform for sports lovers because there is a number of sports items there and 5-6 playgrounds. Yeah! It was a great experience.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Hostel facilities for both girls and boys are available. There are numerous hostels around. All are safe, neat and food is good. No information about hostel fees because I was a day scholar. I think it's around INR 3000-4000 per month. Lots of Pgs available nearby. It's costly staying in pg. One can get varieties of food (North indian/south indian/chinese/arab) available in canteen. Moderate cost for all Quality of classrooms, labs, libraries, mess, wi-fi, playground, restrooms etc are great.
Clubs & Associations : Every year there are sports and cultural weeks. Intercollegiate matches will be done! Life in this college will be great. One reason is it is in the heart of Cochin. One of the best colleges in University in Kerala.
