A candidate in the category is sponsored by a recognized R&D organization, national institute, governmental organization, or industry for doing M.Tech in the Institute on a full-time basis.He/she is expected to have a minimum of two years of work experience in the particular field. A sponsorship letter (Form I) should be attached with the application.
During the programme if a regular student secures a job and wishes to join the same, then he/she will be treated as a sponsored candidate and he/she will have to get the sponsorship letter from his/her employer. He/she would be charged institutional fees for sponsored candidates
