What is HTET Certificate Validity?
According to the latest notification issued by the Ministry of Education, Haryana, the HTET certificate validity has been reduced from the previous period of a lifetime to 5 years.
Upon the announcement of the HTET result in 2023, the certificate will be issued to the candidates who have qualified for the final cutoff for various categories, i.e., General, SC, ST, OBC, and EWS. Successful candidates who meet the HTET cutoff criteria in the 2023 examination will receive this certificate from the BSEH in their registered Email.
How to Download the HTET Certificate?
Candidates can download the HTET certificate once the final HTET result is released. The HTET certificate will not be issued in a digital format. Instead, it will be sent via the email address provided by the candidate during the online application process. Steps to Take If You Haven't Received Your HTET Certificate

Step 1: Sending a Request Letter through Mail: In cases where candidates have not received their HTET certificate or face discrepancies, they should follow these steps to request the certificate via mail.
- Draft a request letter to be sent to the official email address js@bseh.org.in.
- Include details like roll number, examination slot, and HTET reference number.
- Send the request to have the HTET certificate mailed to you.
Step 2: Visiting the Head Office: Applicants residing near the head office can visit the certification section to obtain a duplicate certificate. Additionally, they need to send a formal application to the head office for the certificate.

Instructions for Obtaining a Duplicate HTET Certificate
Candidates can obtain a duplicate certificate if they have lost the original or have not received it. Here are the necessary steps:
- Fill out the application form released by the BSEH, providing details like full name, father's name, mother's name, exam date, roll number, exam subject, and address.
- Clearly state in the application that the duplicate copy will be returned if the original is found.
- Once the form is correctly filled and attested, along with the Rs. 500/- (demand draft) fee, the certificate will be reissued within one month of receiving the application.
HTET Certificate Qualification Process 2023
Candidates who are successful in clearing the HTET cutoff are granted this certificate. The various points regarding HTET certificate validity 2023 are shared below:
HTET Eligibility Criteria for Level-1 Primary Teacher(PRT) (Class I -V)
- (i) A minimum of 50% in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and admission to the last year of a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education program (B.El.Ed.)
- OR (i) Senior Secondary (or similar) with a minimum of 50% of the possible points, passed, or enrolled in the last year of a two-year elementary education diploma program (under whatever name it may be called).
- Option (i): Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% of the possible points, passed, or enrolled in the last year of a two-year diploma program in education (special education).
- OR (i) Completing graduation and passing the two-year Elementary Education Diploma program or enrolling in the program's final year under any name. (ii) Senior Secondary/Graduation/Post-Graduation with Hindi as one of the topics, or Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit.
HTET Eligibility Criteria for Level-2 TGT (Class VI-VIII)
- Completing graduation and passing the last year of a two-year elementary education diploma under any name OR
- Completing graduation with a minimum of 50% of the possible points and passing or appearing in a bachelor's degree in education (B.Ed.).
- OR Passing a 2-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program with a minimum of 45% of the possible points or enrolling in one in line with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations that are periodically released in this respect.
- OR Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% of the possible points and passing or appearing in the final year of a four-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% of the possible points and passing or appearing in the final year of a four-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed).

HTET Certificate Qualifying Marks 2023
The candidates who are planning to take the HTET exam for the coming years must note that the HTET certificate will be issued for those candidates who will get the qualifying marks. The General & OBC candidate has to score a minimum of 60 %, i.e., 90 out of 150 marks, to qualify for the exam. The qualification details for the certificate are shared below in the table.
