About HTET Exam
The HTET exam is a written exam conducted by the Board of School Education in Haryana. It is an aptitude exam to check whether teachers are capable enough to handle the challenges of Elementary, Secondary, and Senior Secondary Schools. This exam has three Levels: Level 1 is for Primary School Teachers (Classes 1-5), Level 2 is for Trained Graduate Teachers (Classes 2-8), and Level 3 is for Postgraduate Teachers (classes 8 and above).
HTET is a state-level exam for candidates who want to teach in the state of Haryana, be recognized as teachers by the Department of School Education, Haryana, and/or be affiliated with the Board of School Education, Haryana.
The exam is conducted annually for Level 1, 2, and 3 candidates. It is conducted following the guidelines set by the National Council for Teacher Education/Department of School Education, Haryana. The board will issue a TET certificate to the candidates who qualify for the written examination. The certificate will be valid for five years. Candidates can apply for HTET vacancies after obtaining an HTET certificate.

HTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the HTET 2024 exam, candidates must make sure that they meet the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the Board of Secondary Education- Haryana (BSE-H) to write the HTET exam. If it is found that the candidate doesn't satisfy the eligibility criteria at later stages of selection, then his/her candidature will stand cancelled.
Age Limit
The candidate must be of age between 18 to 38 years old to apply for the HTET 2024 exam.
HTET 2024 Educational Qualification
The educational qualifications are different for each level. Level 1 is for the primary teacher (classes 1 to 5), level 2 is for the trained graduate teacher (classes 6 to 8) and level 3 requires postgraduate teachers (above class 8). The educational requirement for each level of the HTET 2024 exam is discussed below:
HTET 2024 Educational Qualification for Level-I (Class I to V)
A candidate who wants to appear for the Level 1 exam must have passed the 12th exam with a minimum of 50% and have a Diploma in Elementary Education, either passing or appearing in the final exam.
HTET 2024 Educational Qualification for Level-II (Class VI to VIII)
To appear in the Level 2 exam, a candidate must have a bachelor’s degree along with a B.Ed, which is passed or appearing in the final year, and a 2-year diploma in elementary education, which is passed or appearing in the final year.
HTET 2024 Educational Qualification for Level-III (Class VIII above)
To appear for the Level 3 exam, a candidate must have a Master’s degree along with a B.Ed passed or appearing final exam and a 2-year Diploma in elementary education passed or should be appearing for the final exam.

HTET 2024 Exam Pattern
Candidates aspiring to take the HTET 2024 exam must have a clear idea of the pattern of the exam paper in terms of the type of question, marking scheme, exam duration, etc. The detailed exam pattern is discussed below.
Duration and Questions: The total number of questions for all three levels is 150, and the total duration is 2 hours 30 minutes to attempt all three levels. The HTET 2024 exam will be conducted only offline, i.e., it will be a pen-and-paper-based exam.
Marking Scheme: For each correct response, a +1 is awarded in the HTET paper, and there is no penalty for wrong answers, which means that there is no negative marking in the HTET 2024 Exam. Candidates will be provided with an OMR sheet, on which they will have to choose the answer by darkening the circle for the corresponding option. HTET 2024 Admit Card
The HTET admit card for the # year will be issued by the Board of Secondary Education, Haryana, on December 12, 2024. The HTET exam admit card will be available for download on the official website. BSEH takes no responsibility for sending the admit card by post to the registered address of the candidates. The HTET admit card for the 2024 will be available under the login section and must be downloaded.
No candidate will be allowed to appear for the HTET 2024 exam without an admit card. In addition to the HTET 2024 hall ticket, candidates must also carry valid ID proof, such as a PAN card, Aadhaar Card, Driving License, or Voter ID.

HTET 2024 Result
HTET results for the 2024 will be released through the conducting authority on the official website in December 2024. In addition, the HTET 2024 OMR sheet will be available. However, candidates must pay INR 100 as an online fee to download the OMR sheet.
Candidates can check the results on the designated website. After passing the exam, the scores are valid for 7 years from the date of receiving the results.
To qualify to teach, the applicant must pass two rounds. The first round is the written test. After qualifying for the first round, the candidate becomes eligible for the second round, which is a personal interview.

Following the biometric verification procedure, the names of the applicants who qualify for the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 with more than the minimum qualifying marks will be issued shortly.

HTET 2024 Cut Off
