TS EDCET Marking Scheme 2024

The TS EDCET exam has three parts and consists of 150 questions. The questions are objective-type MCQ questions in all the sections.

  • Each question is worth one mark. The TS EDCET exam 2024 does not have negative markings.
  • The exam is conducted for 2 hours.
  • All three sections are compulsory for students to attempt. General English, General Knowledge plus Teaching Aptitude, and Methodology are the three sections.
  • Candidates can choose a subject of their choice from the methodology section.
  • Part C of the TS EDCET exam pattern 2024 has five sections; all the sections have different marking schemes- Mathematics, Physical Science, Biological Science, Social Studies, and English.

TS EDCET Exam 2024 Important Instructions

TS EDCET exam 2024 has some important instructions to be followed while giving the examination. Here are some important instructions given by the Conducting Body Officials to be followed-

  • Candidates receive a separate optical mark reader answer sheet with the question paper.
  • They must use a black/blue ballpoint pen to fill out the following information:
  • The question paper will provide a space for the hall ticket number.
  • Booklet S. No. and Booklet Code for the question paper
  • In case of any defects in the OMR sheet or question paper, ask the invigilator to replace it with the same booklet code as soon as possible.
  • There is a strict prohibition on using calculators, mathematical tools, log books, pagers, cell phones, or other electronic devices.
  • Use an H.B. pencil to darken the circle corresponding to the Booklet, H.T. number, etc., on the OMR sheet.
  • On the OMR sheet, darken the appropriate circle corresponding to the correct answer with only an H.B. pencil. If students wish to change the answer, erase the answer and fill in the right circle.
  • The darkening of more than one circle will be considered invalid automatically.
