The AP TET 2024 answer keys for the July Session have been released on the official website for exams conducted till October 21, 2024. The AP TET 2024 final answer key has been released on October 27, 2024. The examination was conducted in two sessions. Each session contained two papers such as Papers I-A & II-B for Class I to V and Papers II-A & II-B for Class VI to VIII.

As per the notice, The AP TET August 2024 application forms for the July Session were available from Jul 3, 2024. The last date to apply for the AP TET 2024 exam was Aug 3, 2024. The AP TET application payment window was active from Jul 3 - Aug 3, 2024. Candidates will be required to pay an application fee of Rs.750/- for the UR candidates for the AP TET 2024.

The AP TET Admit Card 2024 was made available for download from Sep 22, 2024 onwards and the AP TET 2024 final results for the July Session will be released on Nov 2, 2024.

The Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, conducts AP TET (Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test) to recruit teachers for the schools in Andhra Pradesh. The teacher selected is assigned to various Government/ ZP/ MP/ Municipal/ Recognised Private Aided & Private Unaided schools for classes I to VIII.

AP TET Answer Key 2024

AP TET 2024 answer key for both papers will be released for the Jul session on the official website. The provisional answer key for the July session is available on the official website from Oct 4, 2024 onwards. 

Furthermore, the answer key for the Feb session was released on the official website on Mar 14, 2024 as per the notification, after considering the objections raised against the provisional answer key. However, the AP TET provisional answer key was released on Mar 4, 6, and 9, 2024 for the exams commenced between Feb 27 - Mar 6, 2024.

AP TET Cutoff 2024

AP TET cutoff 2024 will be released by the authority soon after the results are out. However, it is expected to be released by December 2024. The official cutoff list will be shared with the students once it is released.

THE AP TET 2024 exam date has been released. As per the new notice, the AP TET exam 2024 for the July session is scheduled to take place from Oct 3-20, 2024. The exam conducting board hasn't released the timetable of the AP TET exam 2024 for the July session. However, applicants can check the detailed date list for the Jul session after the release. AP TET 2024 application form for the July Session was released on Jul 3, 2024, on the official website. The last date to fill out the application form was Aug 3, 2024. Students must ensure to register for the exam on the official website and acquire login credentials. These credentials will aid students in downloading the AP TET Admit Card 2024 for the July Session.

AP TET Application Form Process

The application process for AP TET includes registration, online fee payment as well as uploading the required documents, as detailed below:

  • Online Fee Payment: The eligible candidates can register by paying the fee of INR 750 per paper through the payment gateway. Candidates should pay the fee online through net banking, debit card, or credit card of any nationalized bank.
  • Online Application Form Submission: The Candidate ID will be generated after the application fee payment is complete with which the applicant can proceed with the submission of the application form. The issue of the Candidate ID does not mean that the candidate has completed the submission of the application online. It is only a confirmation of the fee received.
  • Documents Upload: Candidates must upload the scanned copy of a recently taken passport-size photograph and signature as per the instructed dimension.

Documents Required for AP TET 2024 Application

The candidate should be ready with a photograph of size 3.5 cms X 3.5 cms before filling in the online application. Paste the photograph on white paper and sign below (sign in Black Ink only). Ensure that the signature is within the box. The entire image consisting of the photo along with the signature is required to be scanned and stored in *.jpeg format on a local machine. Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50 KB.

Applications with no photo/ unclear photo/ inadequate size photograph will be rejected. Hall tickets will not be issued to such candidates. Hence, after clicking on the 'Upload' button check if the photo is of the required size, clear, and is of the same candidate for whom the details are to be filled in the application.

If the photo is smaller in size, not clear, or does not belong to the candidate press the 'Back' button below the photograph on the application form and restart with the scanning of the photograph. Complaints relating to a mismatch of photograph and candidate details will not be accepted after submission of the application at any cost.

AP TET 2024 admit card for the July Session was made available from Sep 22, 2024 onwards. Candidates can download AP TET admit card 2024 using their login credentials. In case any candidate cannot download the AP TET hall ticket, they should contact the Joint Director, TET of Commissioner of School Education, Anjaneya Towers, Ibrahimpatnam between 10.00 AM to 5.30 PM.

About AP TET

Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) is a state-level entrance test conducted by the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, to ensure national standards and benchmarks of Teacher quality in the recruitment process by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

AP TET Eligibility Criteria 2024

The candidate's application might be rejected at any time during the process of admission if the candidate is found to be ineligible for the examination. AP TET eligibility criteria are structured by the Department of School Education, Andhra Pradesh.

Applicants must go through AP TET 2024 eligibility before filling out the application form. Eligibility criteria for various papers are different and the same has been listed below. The qualification required for Paper I, Paper II-A, and Paper II-B is given below.

AP TET Paper I (Class I-V) Qualification

The candidates must have passed a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/ 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)/2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)/ Intermediate / Senior Secondary with a minimum 50% marks for general category candidates and 45% marks for SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled candidates.

OR

The candidates must have passed a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education. (B.El.Ed.) /2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) in case of the candidates, who have passed or are admitted to D.El.Ed / D.Ed., course before the issue of these guidelines/ Intermediate / Senior Secondary with minimum 45% marks for general category candidates and 40% marks for SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled candidates.

AP TET Paper II-A (Class VI-VIII) Qualification

The qualifications required to apply for the different Teacher posts for Paper II-A are as follows.

Mathematics and Science/ Social Teacher

The candidate must have passed in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Course/ Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) – Special Education in the concerned subject with a minimum of 50% marks for general category candidates and 45% marks for SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled candidates.

The candidates must have passed 4-years B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed with minimum 50% marks for general category candidates and 45% marks for SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled candidates.

Language Teacher

Graduation with concerned Language as one of the optional subjects (OR) Bachelor Degree of Oriental Language (or its equivalent) (OR) Graduation in Literature (OR) Post Graduation in Language concerned AND Language Pandit Training Certificate/ B.Ed with Language concerned as one of the Methodologies, in respect of Language Teachers.

Qualification for Paper II-B (Class VI-VIII)

The qualifications required to apply for the different Teacher posts for Paper II-B are as follows.

Physical Education Teacher

Candidates must have passed Intermediate Certificate issued by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (or) Equivalent certificate recognized by Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of A.P. and Under Graduate Diploma in Physical Education (U.G.D.P.Ed.) of One or Two years, duration/ Diploma in Physical Education (D.P.Ed.) of duration not less than two years (or equivalent) from any NCTE Recognized Institution.

Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent (or) Bachelor’s Degree with Physical Education as an elective subject (or) Graduate in Physical Education (BPE) at least three years duration and Under Graduate Diploma in Physical Education (U.G.D.P.Ed.) of one or two years, duration/ Diploma in Physical Education (D.P.Ed) of duration not less than two years (or equivalent) from any NCTE Recognized Institution.

School Assist - Physical Education Teacher

The candidate must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent (or) Bachelor’s Degree with Physical Education as an elective subject (or) Graduate in Physical Education (BPE) of at least three years duration.

The candidates must have passed Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) of at least one year duration course from NCTE Recognized University/ Institution.

Important Notes on AP TET 2024 Eligibility

The candidates pursuing the final year of a Diploma in elementary education (D.Ed)/ Undergraduate Diploma in Physical Education (U.G.D.P.Ed)/ Diploma in Physical Education(D.P.Ed)/Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)/Language Pandit Training/Bachelor of physical education etc, are also eligible to appear for TET exam whereas candidates cannot appear for Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) with this TET certificate unless the candidates acquire requisite qualification.

A diploma/Degree in Teacher Education or Degree in physical education will be considered only if the courses are recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Diploma in Education (Special Education) and B.Ed. (Special Education) will also be considered if the courses are recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

An intermediate qualification from the Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) of Andhra Pradesh State or its equivalent as recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education(BIE), Andhra Pradesh State only shall be considered, also the Bachelor’s Degree of a University Recognized by UGC will be considered.

AP TET Exam Syllabus 2024

There will be 2 papers for AP TET 2024, Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for Classes I to V, and Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for Classes VI to VIII. A person who intends to be a Teacher either for Classes I to V or for Classes VI to VIII shall have to appear for both Papers.

AP TET Paper I Syllabus

The test portions on Child Development & Pedagogy will focus on the Educational Psychology of teaching and learning relevant to the primary level.

Language–I of AP TET Paper I: Telugu, Urdu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Odiya are offered as first language in the schools under the state's syllabus. Candidates have to choose among these 6 languages and they must have studied that language as a study medium or first language up to class X.

The candidates who studied the CBSE/ ICSE curriculum can choose the Language which they studied up to Class X. The Language II shall be English for all the candidates. The syllabus for Language papers I and II shall be based on Proficiency in the Language, Elements of language, communication, and comprehension abilities.

The syllabi for Mathematics & Environmental Studies are designed based on topics of Classes I to V.

AP TET Paper II-A & Paper II-B Syllabus

The test portions on Child Development & Pedagogy will focus on the Educational Psychology of teaching and learning relevant to the Elementary level for Paper II-A Physical Education Pedagogy for Paper II-B will focus on the Elementary level.

As Language-I other than Language teachers have to choose among Telugu, Urdu, Kannada, English, Hindi, Tamil, Odia, and Sanskrit, The Candidate must have studied the chosen language as a study medium or first language up to class X. The candidates who studied the CBSE/ ICSE curriculum can choose the language which they studied up to Class X.

Language Teachers have to choose the Language of their study in Pandit Training concerned under Language-I of TET Paper II-A.

For Physical Education Teacher a candidate has to choose one among five Languages Telugu, Urdu, Tamil, Odiya, and Kannada as Language_I of TET Paper-II (B).

The syllabus for Language Papers I and II for Paper II-A shall be based on proficiency in the Language, Elements of Language, Communication, and Comprehension abilities. For Physical Education Teachers the syllabus for Language papers I and II shall be based on proficiency in the Language, Elements of Language, Communication, and Comprehension abilities.

AP TET 2024 Mock Tests

The online AP TET mock test 2024 for Jul Session will be available Sep 19, 2024 onwards. The mock test will be issued by the Department of School Education (DSC), Government of Andhra Pradesh.

AP TET Exam Centres 2024

AP TET 2024 exam centre option service will be released by AP DSE on the official website.
