ISC Passing Marks 2026 for Class 12th

You need to score passing marks in four or more subjects to qualify for the ISC exam. The ISC Board Exam 2026 is scheduled from February 12 to April 06, 2026. The exam will be conducted for 100 marks, out of which 80 marks are allocated for the theory exam and remainng 20 marks are assigned for internal exams. You can take the exam with up to 6 papers. You must score the aggregate marks, including the theory and practical, to get the passing certificate.

The ISC Passing Marks 2026 for Class 12th is 35% aggregate overall. Moreover, 40% in each subject is mandatory to obtain a passing certificate. However, the Board will issue a ‘Statement of Marks’ to students who appeared for the ISC Board Exam 2026. You can appear for the ISC improvement exam if you can't secure the passing marks.

You must also secure a passing grade in SUPW and Community Service as examined/assessed internally by the School. The CISCE will declare the ISC exam results 2026 on May 6, 2026 (tentative). The marks obtained by candidates will be released through the ISC 12th Result 2026.

ISC Results 2026

The ISC class 12 results 2026 will be released by CISCE on the official website. To check their results online, candidates can follow the steps below.

1. Firstly, students must visit the official website.
2. Next, they must click on the link from the homepage indicating “CISCE 12th results 2026”.
3. Then, students must enter their unique ID number, index number, and captcha.
4. Upon clicking “Show Result”, the portal will display the scorecard.
5. Ultimately, students can check if they have met the ISC passing marks criteria and take a printout for future use. 

ISC Improvement Exam 2026

You can sit for the improvement exams if you can not score passing marks in the ISC 12th board exams. The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) is expected to conduct the improvement examinations from July 2026 (tentative).

CISCE is expected to announce the results for the ISC 12th Improvement Exam 2026 in August 2026 (tentative) at cisce.org or results.cisce.org. You can check their results online by entering your roll number. The improvement exam is the last chance to secure the ISC passing marks for class 12th; failing to do so will lead to the repeat of the year.
