Calicut University Defers UG and PG Entrance Exams 2021

Calicut University has decided to defer the 2021 entrance exams for various undergraduate and postgraduate courses until further notice. Earlier, the institute had scheduled the entrance exams to take place on 9 September 2021. However, the university postponed the exams until further notice. Additionally, the authorities have not yet mentioned the reason for the rescheduling of the entrance tests. Varsity authorities will soon announce new exam dates for the UG and PG admission assessments.

Calicut University 2021 Entrance Exams Postponed

Earlier, the university had released a notification confirming the postponement. The notice stated, “It is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that all the UG/ PG entrance examinations scheduled to be held from 9 September 2021 onwards are postponed. The varsity will announce the revised dates of the examinations later.”

Calicut University conducts admissions based on the marks secured in their UG and PG entrance exams. University officials will conduct both entrance exams for a duration of two hours. Students have to answer both subjective and objective type questions within the prescribed time period. Additionally, there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong objective answer. Furthermore, the subjective questions do not have negative marking criteria.
