Delhi University Offers Various Online and Offline Certificate Courses
Delhi University is collaborating with other training institutions to offer joint-certificate courses through online and offline classes.
The COVID-19 pandemic forced all educational activities to go online. As a result, students are getting accustomed to the new training and teaching pattern. In this scenario, Delhi University has signed a pact with other training institutions to offer joint-certificate courses through online and offline classes that lead to multiple careers.
“From the session 2021, a 12th pass candidate may also additionally enroll in these certificate courses. There are overall 16 courses that have newly been introduced, seeing the interest of the student community. Courses on offer include e-accounting, stenography, financial markets, cybersecurity and ethical hacking, digital marketing, data sciences, machine learning, fashion design, interior design, fine arts, graphics and animation, mass communication, filmmaking, and acting. There has been a sharp rise in students who opted to learn such curriculum along with the degree programs that range from 4 to 10 months. Such courses broaden their creative thinking and help build their CV for all possible work opportunities in the form of internships or direct jobs. Some students also choose to go for higher studies after getting trained on the basics through these certificate courses.” said Deepak Bansal (Director, RK Educational Group), associated with the Delhi University as a training partner.
Professor U S Pandey (Principal, School of Open Learning – Delhi University) said, “Students may consider these DU certifications over the other private courses since they are pocket friendly and may help get government jobs. Furthermore, the training is given by experienced professionals with industry-mapped topics with the help of training partners. The advantage of enrolling in these DU certifications is also open to students studying in other institutions or universities whether located in or outside Delhi.”
Admissions to all certificate courses are open and direct by visiting the Campus of Open Learning situated in C-2, Keshav Puram. Moreover, the last date to enroll for the courses is 31 August 2021.
