IMU CET 2021 Examination Cancelled Until Further Notice

Indian Maritime University has officially cancelled the IMU CET 2021 examination until further notice. Earlier, officials had scheduled the assessment to take place in an online remotely-proctored testing mode on 29 August 2021. However, the entrance test did not take place due to administrative errors. Thus, the university will announce new dates for the IMU Common Entrance Test 2021 shortly. Thus, applicants should continue to visit the official website, imu.edu.in, for further updates. Additionally, candidates will also receive an official notification regarding the revised schedule at their registered e-mail address.
On 25 August 2021, authorities released the admit card for the cancelled examination online. Due to rescheduling, candidates must obtain a new admit card after publication for the alternate examination date. Furthermore, officials will publish examination results later than initially scheduled, on 6 September 2021. The Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test is an annual entrance examination for admissions to undergraduate programmes offered by the university. The official announcement regarding the termination stated the reasoning for the decision and future plans for scheduling. As quoted, “due to administrative reasons, the IMU-CET scheduled for 29.08.2021 stands cancelled. Officials will inform the alternate date and mode of CET soon through the IMU website & e-mail. ”
