Pondicherry University has published its final year MBBS programme results for students from medical colleges affiliated with the university. Therefore, students can now check their MBBS results online on the official website. The results were issued after Pondicherry Lieutenant Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan stepped forward to make amends to dissatisfied students.
The Lieutenant Governor issued a press release stating that the results are now available after a delay. Many students requested their results soon due to the necessity of scores for NEET PG examination registrations and internship applications post-MBBS. Additionally, the press release noted that the Lieutenant Governor and chief Rector of the University intervened to ensure quick disclosure of the MBBS final scores. Earlier, the university conducted its final year MBBS examinations in March/ April. Afterwards, university officials had delayed the results due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
