Computer Applications: An Emerging Field

Faculty of Computer Applications at Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies offers Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Applications (BCA & MCA) and B.Sc.- Information Technology designed to meet the growing requirements of qualified professionals not only in the IT industry but also in other fields such as healthcare, transportation, travel and many more.

B.Sc.- Information Technology is offered in association with Auckland Institute of Studies, New Zealand (a unique tertiary institution providing NZQA Accredited Programs) with the inbuilt 4-week internship program at AIS, New Zealand.

SAP module of 40-hours duration on Business Processes has been embedded in the curricula of BCA and MCA to bridge the industry-academia gap and enhance the employability and entrepreneurial prospects of the students. The department has a student chapter of IEEE, Advance Computing Machinery (ACM), and Computer Society of India (CSI) and various co-curricular activities are conducted in association with them.

AICTE-Approved MCA program offered by the department covers various aspects of computational theory, programming, algorithm design and optimization, network and database management, mobile technologies, electronics, mathematics, probability, statistics, accounting, finance, etc. Along with this, technical seminars and lectures by IT Industry Experts and Renowned Academicians are conducted.
