- You must have passed senior secondary or equivalent from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks, or you must have cleared the final year diploma of elementary education.
- You must have cleared or appeared in the final year diploma of elementary education as per the NCTE regulations 2002.
- You must have completed the final year of the diploma in education, which is 2 years.
- You must have cleared or appeared for the four-year bachelor’s program.
CTET 2026 Secondary Teacher (Class I to V) Educational Details - Paper 1

- You must have completed your bachelor's with at least 50% of marks, or must have appeared in the final year of elementary education of 2 years.
- You must have appeared in 1 year of a Bachelor's Degree.
- You must have cleared or appeared in the 1 year of Bachelor's in Education as per the NCTE regulation.
