Major changes in the question patterns have been included in the revised CBSE class 12th blueprint 2024-25. According to the new exam pattern, the competency-based questions increased from 40% to 50% whereas the number of constructed response questions and MCQs decreased from 40% to 30%.
The CBSE class 12 2024-25 blueprint also includes the course structure, question format, and topic allocation in the question papers from the syllabus. The CBSE 12th exam 2025 is scheduled to begin on February 15, 2025, and the total marks assigned for each paper are 100, divided into 70 marks for theory and 30 marks for practicals and internal evaluation. For non-practical subjects, 80 marks are assigned for the theory papers and 20 marks for project works.
