Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, Delhi University, New Delhi was established in 1984. It was opened as a commerce college at the University of Delhi. It provides such an environment that helps one to develop in all ways. It is affiliated with the University of Delhi.

The admissions are done through the entrance examination conducted by the college. Online forms are available for registration on the official website. Physically handicapped - 3% seats in all undergraduate courses will be reserved for Physically handicapped candidates having a minimum of 40% physical disabilities.
Foreign Students: The university has designated Foreign Student’s Advisor to handle all inquiries regarding rules and responsibilities for admitting Foreign Students. Kashmiri Migrants: Up to 5% of seats are reserved course-wise in all Colleges for Wards of Kashmiri Migrants. Children/Widows/Wives of the officers and men of the Armed Forces killed or disabled in action. 5% of seats are reserved for candidates under CW categories course wise in all colleges. Candidates from all categories who seek admission in undergraduate courses in Delhi University are required to fill the pre-admission form available online at the University of Delhi portal. This is mandatory for all candidates.
On the basis of the marks of all candidates who have opted for the College in a concerned course, a minimum cut-off percentage for admission in that course is declared. The cut-off percentage for admission in different courses in the college is displayed on the College Notice Board and College Website. No individual intimation is given to any candidates. The eligibility of candidates for admission will be decided on the basis of the cut-off percentage declared by college and eligibility criteria specified by the university
