CBSE Class 12 Preparation Tips

Class 12th board exam results play a decisive role in students' lives regarding their choice of career. They also have to cope with peer pressure and family expectations. The enormous stress might put all hard work in vain if the study and revision need to be appropriately planned. Let's go through some tips to avoid unnecessary stress cramming and excel in the final exams:

  • Start Preparing On-Time: Start preparing as soon as you receive the syllabus and be consistent throughout the year.
  • Practice Previous Year Questions: Analyse the previous year's questions and mark the areas from which questions have been asked consistently. Revise those parts harder.
  • Fix Targets: Fix short-term targets for completing topics or chapters. Fix them as per your capacity.
  • Identify Your Weak Areas: Identify and work on your weak areas. Focus on them from the beginning of the academic session. Thus you will get maximum time for your weaker areas.
  • Take Sufficient Rest: Take a break of 10 mins after every 1-2 hours of continuous study. Regular breaks will enhance your brain's capacity and prepare you to endure exam stress.
  • Don't Be Monotonous: Leaving everything and only studying throughout the day for months can make you less enthusiastic and bored.

However, it's important to note that you keep pursuing your hobbies. You can follow them in your idle time to give diversity to your mind.
