Manipur HSLC Passing Marks refers to the minimum marks required in the exam or a subject to pass. The Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BSEM) is the authority that decides pass marks for Manipur Board Class Xth (HSLC) exams. The Manipur HSLC passing mark is 33%. This pass percentage is a compilation of both the theory and practical parts of the subjects. Students need to score a minimum of 33% or 33 marks in each subject as well as overall to pass the Manipur HSLC Exam.

Students must appear in 5 compulsory/main subjects and 1 optional subject. The compulsory subjects are First Language, English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science. Manipur HSLC Passing Marks 2025 for the Theory Paper 

Each subject in the Manipur HSLC exam will carry 100 marks. In Mathematics, Science, and English, the theory portion will be of 90 marks, and the practical/internal assessment will carry 10 marks. In subjects like Social Science, First Language, and Additional Choices, there won’t be any practical/internal assessment. Hence, for such papers, the total weightage of the theory paper will be 100 marks.

Criteria for Practical/Internal Assessment 

Subjects like Science, Mathematics, and English will require a practical/internal assessment test. In such a test, 5 marks are for the experimental exercise, 3 marks for viva voice, and 2 marks for lab notebook. Hence, the total of practical/internal assessment is 5+3+2 = 10 marks.

Manipur HSLC Grading System 2025

Manipur HSLC Grading System works on the 9-scale criteria. The highest grade is A1 and the lowest is E2. If a student scores in the range of 91 to 100 in a subject then A1 grade will be allotted.
