The Uttarakhand Board of School Education has established guidelines for providing grace marks to Class 10 students who fall short of the minimum passing score in the board exams.
According to these criteria, up to 8 grace marks will be allowed across a maximum of two courses, but only if a student passes at least 25% of the maximum marks in the theoretical paper, internal evaluation, project work, or practicals, depending on the subject. Second, for a candidate to qualify for grace marks, their total marks across all subjects must be at least 33%.
Students who are dissatisfied with their UK Board Class 10 Result 2025 can apply for a reassessment. This process includes re-totaling of marks, with any necessary changes noted in an amended marksheet.
Candidates must submit reevaluation requests within 21 days of the results publication. The rechecking application form will be available on the Uttarakhand Board's official website, [ubse.uk.gov.in]. The board is anticipated to announce details about the revaluation procedure around April 2024. Before preparing for any supplemental exams, students should completely review the Class 10 syllabus.
Those students obtaining less than 33 marks in any of their subjects will be given the choice to improve their marks through compartment examinations. Uttarakhand Board is set to conduct the UK Board 10th compartment examinations during May 2025 tentatively. Students will be able to take tests in a maximum of two subjects to improve their scores.
To apply for the compartment exams, eligible students need to fill in the application form and pay a minor fee per subject. The board would release the test timetable and admission cards for Class 10 compartment exams well in advance. The results of the exams are expected to be announced between July to August 2025.
