The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education follows a 10-point scale grading system and the corresponding grades are awarded to students ranging from A1 to E2. The grades and the grade points indicate students’ overall performance in the RBSE 12th board examination.
As per the RBSE grading system, students must get a grade of D to pass the exam. The equivalent marks for grade D are 33-40 and the grade point is 4. While grading the students’ performance, marks obtained in 5 subjects are considered- two language subjects and 3 core subjects. Scoring a minimum of 33 marks in each subject is mandatory. In fact, it is mandatory to pass the theory part, the practical including the internal assessment to be declared a pass.

The following pattern is followed to award grades and grade points in the RBSE class 12 result. Students with grade D will be declared “passed”.

Students appearing in the RBSE class 12 exam should know the pass marks to be scored in both theory and practical tests. In practical subjects of 70 marks, a minimum of 23 marks in theory and 6 marks in practical is mandatory to score. In subjects carrying 80 marks in theory, students have to score 26 marks to pass the exam.
