Students can easily calculate their overall CGPA. They just have to follow the below-mentioned steps.
Example: Consider that a student has obtained the following grade points in different subjects:
Mathematics- 9
Hindi- 8
English- 8
Science- 7
Social Science- 9
Now, following the above-mentioned steps:
41/5 = 8.2, which is close to 8, so the overall CGPA of the student is B1.
The conversion of CGPA into a Percentage is also simple. Multiply the overall grade point by 9.5. If we look at the above example, the overall CGPA obtained was 8.2. Multiplying 8.2 by 9.5, the product obtained is 77.9%, which is the overall percentage obtained by the student.
