The Telangana State Secondary Education Board (TSBSE), also known as the Telangana Board, conducts Class 10 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams in the state. The students appearing in these exams have to get the minimum TS board class 10th passing marks to get promoted for the higher class. TS Board was established in 2014 under the Telangana Act of 2014 and conducts SSC board exams in an offline manner.

Telangana has introduced a novel grading system to determine the passing status for candidates. The information present on the SSC mark sheet include the students’ grades, grade points, and subject-wise marks, which are considered for the grading purpose. Telangana SSC marks list is made available to schools within two weeks post the declaration of TS SSC result. Based on the TS board class 10th passing marks, students are admitted into higher programs.

TS Board: Class 10th Subject-Wise Passing Marks

The total number of marks allotted to each paper is 100, out of which theory paper is of 80 marks while the weightage of practical exam is 20. The students have to obtain 35 marks in each subject. While the non-language papers are of 50 marks each. Out of 50, 40 marks will be allocated in the theory exam while the remaining 10 marks will be awarded as internal assessment.

TS board exam is of 600 points (with each subject of 100 marks). Out of the total, the board exams carry a weightage of 480 points while internals are of 120 marks. 

TS Board Class 10th Passing Marks For Theory

TS Board Class 10th Passing Marks for Practical

TS Board Class 10th Grading System

The TS SSC exam consists of a grading system. The details regarding the same are explained below:
