The Telangana State Secondary Education Board (TSBSE), also known as the Telangana Board, conducts Class 10 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams in the state. TSBSE has implemented a 9-point grading system for the evaluation of Class 10th Students by grading their performance on a scale of 3 to 10 (10 being the highest). Rather than the traditional system, grading promotes a much more holistic approach by categorizing students into different grade bands based on their marks.

In the Telangana State Board of Secondary Education Class 10th grading system, students are awarded grades that are associated with the marks range in which their score lies in each subject. This system ensures fair competition as it reduces stress related to marks. This grade point system allows the calculation of overall GPA (Grade Point Average) across subjects.
