In the HPBOSE 12th exam, practical and theory exams are conducted separately, and so are their maximum and passing marks. The practical exams of a few subjects include internal assessments, projects, and group activities. To be declared as passed in a subject, candidates have to secure passing marks in both practical and theory exams.
The HPBOSE 12th exam for theory is conducted of 80 marks for most of the subjects except for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, which are conducted of 60 marks. Out of 80 maximum marks, 26 are the marks, and out of 60 maximum marks, 19 are the passing marks.
