The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has released the NIOS admission form 2025 for all sessions on the official website for April/May 2025 public exams. The registration form was released on November 21, 2024, for session I and the application form for for session II will be issued on September 2025 (tentative).
For April/May 2025 public exams, students must register themselves before December 20, 2024, to avoid the late fees. Otherwise, candidates will have to pay INR 100 per subject as a late fee. For the subjects that include practicals, students need to pay an extra INR 150 to register.
Eligible candidates must register themselves to sit for the NIOS board exams. The details on the NIOS registration form must be filled out properly as the same will be reflected on their admit card.

Applications and appropriate admission fees should reach the NIOS office within the stipulated time mentioned by the board. If the school fails to complete the application process within the stipulated time, it will have to pay an additional fine as prescribed by the NIOS board.
Beyond the final date, the NIOS board will entertain no further admission. Therefore candidates must register for the final board exam before the deadline via their respective schools and remit the appropriate admission fees. Students can also check their NIOS admission status on the open board official website.
