The grading system includes grades such as A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, D, E1, and E2. Grade A1 is for students who score between 90 and 100, while E2 is for students who score less than 21.

How to calculate UP Board 12th Grade Point Average using percentage?

To calculate grade points, students must utilize the following formula:

  • The CGPA formula is calculated as the sum of grade points earned in each subject divided by the total number of subjects.
  • The candidate can use the UP Board grading system to compute grade points for each theory course.
  • After computing the grade point for each subject, add all of the grades.
  • Divide the grade points by the total number of topics, and the final calculated figure will be the UP Board GPA.

How to convert GPA to Percentage

To convert the UP Board 12th Class GPA into a percentage, use the following formula: Percentage = GPA × 8.5. For example, if the GPA is 8, then Percentage = 8 × 8.5 = 68%

UP Board 12th Passing Marks 2025: Subject Wise 

As per Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, students must score at least 33% marks to pass the UP Board Class 12th Examination.
