The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) conducted the 10th board exams in March 2025. The exams were conducted between March 3, 2025, and March 24, 2025. The result of these exams will be declared in May 2025 (tentative).

The CGBSE 10th Grading System is decided by the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education. According to the grading system of the Chhattisgarh board, students are allotted grades between A1 and E2.
There are a total of nine grades in the CGBSE 10th Grading system, ranging from A1 to E2. A1 is the highest grade which can be allotted to a student, and E2 is the lowest grade.

The grades are allotted to a student based on the total marks received by the student in the CGBSE 10th exam. The students must get a minimum grade of D to pass the board exams. Students getting grades E1 and E2 are considered as failed.

CGBSE 10th Grading System 2025: Passing Marks:- Students are expected to get a minimum grade of D to pass the exams. The passing marks for the Chhattisgarh Board 10th exams are 33%. Students must attain a minimum of 33% in all the subjects.
The total marks are calculated on the basis of marks received in both theory and practical exams. If a student receives marks less than 33% or a grade E1 or E2, he/she will be considered as failing.
The exams of all the subjects are conducted for a total of 100 marks. These marks are further divided into theory marks and practical marks. The marking scheme of the CGBSE 10th boards is given in the table below:

If a student is not able to get passing marks in one or more subjects, he/she can apply for the CGBSE 10th supplementary exam. The Chhattisgarh board will conduct the supplementary exams in June 2025 (tentatively).
The date sheet for the supplementary exams will be released on the official website of the Chhattisgarh Board - cgbse.nic.in. To apply for the supplementary exams, the students must pay a nominal fee. The fee for one subject is 200 Rs, the fee for two subjects is INR 240, and the fee for more than two subjects is 460 Rs.
The results of the supplementary exams will be declared in July 2025 (tentatively). The students must attain passing marks in supplementary exams otherwise, they will have to give the board exams again in the following academic year.
