The NIOS Board exam 2024 for session II exam was started on October 22, 2024. The October session exam for classes 10 and 12 will be concluded on November 29, 2024. 

The October session's NIOS hall ticket for classes 10th and 12th has been released on the official website. Students have to use their enrollment number to download the hall ticket. Moreover, students have to carry their hall ticket on the at NIOS Board 2024 exam for the October session. 

The NIOS Board will release the 10th and 12th exams for the April/May 2025 session on the official website. The practical exams will be conducted at the school level and students must reach the examination hall on time.

NIOS Board Admission Form 2025

The NIOS registration form for classes 10th and 12th for all sessions will be released on the official website. Interested candidates can register themselves to sit for the NIOS Board exams 2025.  

• The application window to pay for the April-May session will close on January 2025 (tentative).
• The application window to pay for the October-November session will close on July 2025 (tentative).
• Late fees will be charged for registration after the deadline.
• Candidates studying in the 10th/12th class must fill out the NIOS board 10th/12th application form as soon as possible before the last date arrives.
• The school can also formally go through the application process on behalf of the students. Students who want to appear for vocational examinations can apply online on the official website sdmis.nios.ac.in.

Students must check their eligibility as mentioned on the NIOS official website before submitting the NIOS application for the academic session 2025.

Candidates must send a scanned copy/soft copy (jpg, jpeg files) of the following documents and upload them while filling NIOS admission form 2024:

1. Recent passport-size coloured photographs
2. Signature (preferably in black ink)
3. Valid identity proof (like Aadhaar Card, Passport, or Ration card)
4. Valid proof of Date of Birth
5. A valid proof of residence
6. Class 8th mark sheet or Self Certificate (in case of secondary course) and class 10th mark sheet (if applicable)

NIOS Board Date Sheet 2025

The detailed NIOS date sheet 2025 for the April/May session will be released in February 2025 (tentative). The date sheet for the October/November session exam will be released in August 2025 (tentative).

The theory exams are held in pen and paper mode. The practical exams for class 10th and 12th students will be conducted in February 2025 (tentative). NIOS Board Admit Card 2025

The NIOS admit card 2025 for practical exams will be released on the official portal. The steps to download the NIOS class 10th and 12th hall tickets are mentioned below. 

• Step 1: Visit the official website: sdmis.nios.ac.in
• Step 2: Navigate to the exam and result section on the home page and click on the ‘NIOS 10th, 12th Hall Ticket 2025 for theory’ link. 
• Step 3: The page will be redirected to the hall ticket page.
• Step 4: Students can download the hall ticket by entering their "Enrollment Number and Hall Ticket Type". 
• Step 5: The NIOS admit card for classes 10 and 12 will be displayed on the screen 
• Step 6: Download the admit card and take a printout.

NIOS Board Result 2024

For the October/ November 2024 session, the NIOS 10th result will be announced in December 2024 (tentative). NIOS will issue the original mark sheet a few weeks after the declaration of results.

How to Check NIOS Result for Class 10th/12th Using Website?

The step-by-step procedure to download NIOS results 2024 online for class 10th is given below:

• Step 1: Visit the official website of NIOS - nios.ac.in.
• Step 2: Click on the "Results" option from the "Learners Corner" drop-down menu, and choose the "Secondary & Senior Secondary" link.
• Step 3: Click on the "Check Result" link under the "Public Examination Result - 2024" tab on the page.
• Step 4: Enter their "Enrollment Number" and click on the "Submit" button. The NIOS board exam 2024 result will be displayed.

How to Check NIOS Result for Class 10th/12th Using Digilocker?

The step-by-step procedure to download NIOS results for class 10th using Digilocker is given below:

• Step 1: Register on DigiLocker.
• Step 2: There will be a "Sign In" tab in the upper right-hand corner and a "Sign Up" tab beside it. If you do not have a Digilocker account, you can create one via the "Sign Up" tab. Clicking on the tab will take you to the next page.
• Step 3: Give your mobile number or your Aadhaar card number linked to a working mobile number. You will receive an OTP for confirmation.
• Step 4: Once you enter your mobile number or your UID card number linked to a working mobile number, you will receive an OTP that you will have to enter here. If you do not receive it within 30 seconds, you can request a new one.
• Step 5: Once you successfully enter the OTP, you will be asked to create a new DigiLocker account. You will need to provide the following information:
  • Full name
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Email ID
• Step 6: Once the account is created successfully, the students can easily check the NIOS 10th/12th result.
