Calculating CGPA for the Manipur HSLC exam is a very simple process. Students should note down the grade points of the main 5 subjects. After that, add the grade points of all 5 subjects, and then divide the total value by 5. Don’t include the optional subject’s grade points in this total.
Here is an example that will make things easy to understand. Let’s say a student has scored 8-grade points in subject 1, 9-grade points in subject 2, 7-grade points in subject 3, 10-grade points in subject 4, and 8-grade points in subject 5. The total of these will be 8+9+7+10+8 = 42. Now one must divide this total by 5 i.e. 42/5 = 8.4. Hence, in this example, the CGPA is 8.4. Likewise, after getting the marksheets, students can calculate their CGPA in this manner.
