NATA exam 2025 has started from Mar 07, 2025. The exam will be conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA) every Friday and Saturday till Jun 28, 2025, in two shifts (except for public holidays). The NATA registration 2025 commenced on the official website on Feb 03, 2025. Interested candidates can fill out the NATA application form 2025 by every Monday and Tuesday till 11:59 PM for the upcoming weekend as per their scheduled exam date.

Moreover, the NATA admit card 2025 will be released on the official website from Wednesday and Thursday onwards for the Friday and Saturday exams, respectively. Additionally, the CoA will release the NATA scorecards 2025 within seven days of the test.

About NATA Exam

The Council of Architecture (CoA) has released the official notification form NATA 2025. The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is considered one of the most competitive exams for India's Architecture among DASA, JEE Main, AAT, etc. It is organized by the Council of Architecture (CoA) for the Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch), a 5-year program.

NATA is a national-level aptitude test organized in all major cities across India. It is conducted online, i.e., computer-based tests (CBT), and offline, i.e., pen & paper-based tests (PBT). This test assesses the drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity, and critical thinking ability of the candidate pursuing Architecture. The exam is conducted at designated centres, which are discussed below.

CoA released the NATA 2025 application form for phase 1 on the official website on Feb 03, 2025. Candidates can fill out the application form, upload the required documents, pay the application fee, and take a printout of the completed application form on Monday and Tuesday for the upcoming weekend exam.

Steps to Apply for NATA 2025 Exam

Candidates can follow the steps given below to register for NATA 2025.

• Step 1: Candidates must visit the official website at nata.in
• Step 2: They must register by clicking on the 'Register' option.
• Step 3: After clicking the register option, applicants must fill in details like name, date of birth, e-mail ID, phone number, etc and create a strong password.
• Step 4: After entering the required details, they must click on the 'Sign up button. After which a username and password will be sent to the registered mobile number and email ID.
• Step 5: Now, candidates must enter the credentials received in the email and mobile number.
• Step 6: Students must fill out the form with the educational and other details.
• Step 7: They must upload a recent photograph and signature in the required format.
• Step 8: Applicants must pay the application fee of INR 1800/- (General candidates ) and (INR 1500/- for reserved categories) for applying for one and the candidates applying for both NATA exams must pay INR 3500/- (General Candidates) and INR 2800/- (for reserved candidates) respectively.
• Step 9: Candidates must print the application form and fee receipt for future purposes.

Applicants must keep the following points in mind at the time of application.

• Read the instructions carefully before starting the application.
• All the details asked in the NATA 2025 application form should be filled in carefully. If any inconsistency is found later, the candidature may be cancelled.
• Scanned documents to be uploaded in the application must follow the mentioned dimensions.
• The exam centre must be selected cautiously as no change in the exam centre is allowed later.

NATA 2025 Paper Analysis

NATA 2025 Paper Analysis will be released after the exam is conducted. The exam will last for three hours and will include 125 questions worth a total of 200 marks. NATA 2025 Exam Centres

NATA 2025 is conducted in 136 centres, out of which 135 centres are in India, and one exam centre is in Dubai. The NATA 2025 Exam Centres are allocated based on the preference of the candidates. Candidates are advised to reach the allotted exam centre on or before the reporting time (printed on the admit card). Late entry into examination premises is not allowed.

Note: Candidates cannot place a request for a change of exam centre as the conducting authority will not entertain it under any circumstances.

Documents Required on NATA 2025 Exam Day

On the day of the exam, candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall without certain documents. Following are the documents candidates must carry to the exam hall.

• Photo ID Proof - Voter Card, Adhar Card, PAN Card
• Passport size Photograph.

NATA 2025 Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates must follow certain exam day guidelines that must be followed for NATA 2025. These guidelines will be mentioned on the admit cards, which the candidates must carry to the exam centre. Following are the important details and NATA 2025 exam day guidelines.

• NATA 2025 exam will be conducted online as a computer-based test.
• Candidates must reach the exam venue at least 60 minutes before the exam time to complete the pre-exam verification process.
• Candidates must only carry a pen for the exam. Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, calculators, Bluetooth devices, smart watches, palm tops, or other devices will not be allowed in the exam hall.
• Candidates must have their NATA 2025 admit cards and valid photo ID cards with their date of birth and photograph. They can carry photo IDs such as a Voter's ID, Passport, PAN Card, and Driving License.
• The exam-conducting body will distribute rough papers for calculations in the exam hall. Candidates cannot carry their rough papers for the exam. No other resources will be available from the conducting body in the exam hall.
• Any fraudulent behaviour from the candidates will not be tolerated in the exam hall. If any of the candidates create a nuisance, appearing for the exam in place of another candidate, talking, or causing damage to the exam properties.

Dress Code for NATA 2025 Candidates

Candidates appearing for the NATA 2025 exam must follow the below dress code at the examination hall.

• The clothes must be comfortable and not fancy to avoid disturbances.
• No ornaments, jewellery or accessories such as bracelets, rings or goggles are allowed in the exam hall.
• The clothes must not have any metallic items on them.
• No sorts of caps or cloth on the head are allowed.

NATA 2025 Exam Pattern

The NATA 2025 Exam Pattern has been revised by CoA. All the questions and instructions are given in the English language only. For each correct answer, 2 marks are awarded. There is no negative marking in the exam.

NATA 2025 Syllabus

Candidates are supposed to prepare according to the NATA 2025 Syllabus prescribed by the Council of Architecture (CoA) for NATA. NATA 2025 Results

NATA result 2025 will be released for phase 1 every 7 days after the NATA 2025 is concluded. Applicants can access their results using their registered details email ID and password. NATA 2025 results will be declared in the form of a scorecard.

Qualifying marks are decided based on the following rules.

• At least 25% of marks must be scored in MCQ-type questions (30 out of 120).
• At least 25% marks must be secured in Drawing questions (20 out of 80).
• Overall qualifying marks (out of 200) are based on post-exam statistics & at the discretion of the council.

The selection process and allotment of seats to the candidates will start after the merit list of the exam is out. Only the candidates who qualify for the exam are called for the counselling process.

The counselling procedure of NATA 2025 commences after the declaration of the result. Candidates must submit original certificates/ documents at the time of NATA 2025 counselling.

Aspirants taking the exam must first meet NATA 2025 eligibility criteria, which the Council of Architecture defines. Candidates who do not satisfy NATA 2025 eligibility criteria cannot apply for the exam.

Based on age, educational qualification, and nationality, the aspirant's eligibility is decided. Candidates must have completed the 10+2 or 10+3 diploma with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. Candidates from the Arts stream can also apply for NATA 2025 exam as long as they have qualified in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects at the CBSE level.
