AAT 2024 Syllabus: Sectional Analysis
There are five sections in the AAT 2024 syllabus. The sectional analysis of the AAT syllabus 2024 are provided below.
Freehand Drawing:
- This section involves the candidates to study simple drawings depicting the object in its right form, position and relative location, surface texture proportion and details of its parts on the appropriate scale.
- It includes drawing common domestic or day-to-day life usable objects like furniture, equipment, etc., from memory.
Geometrical Drawing:
- Candidates understand this section with exercises in geometrical drawing containing lines, quadrilaterals, angles, triangles, polygons, circles, etc.
- In this section, candidates study of planes (top view), Elevation (front or side views) of simple solid objects like prisms, splayed surface holders, cones, cylinders, cubes, etc.
Three-dimensional perception:
- It involves understanding the three-dimensional forms with building elements, volume, colour, and orientation.
- It also includes visualization through the structuring of the objects in memory.
Imagination and aesthetic sensitivity:
- This section involves composition exercises with the given elements.
- It also includes context mapping.
- It also includes creativity checks through the innovative uncommon test with the help of familiar objects.
- It also involves checking of the sense of colour grouping or application.
Architectural awareness:
- Candidates should develop their general interest and awareness of famous architectural creations, i.e both national and international, places and personalities.
