About Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technologies

Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technology has been Providing B.Tech. engineering (Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and MBA courses to the youth of Himachal Pradesh and other states of India. Two new departments, Computer Applications (offering MCA degree) and Civil Engineering (offering B.Tech. degree) were added in the Institute in 2008. Over the years SEET achieved the status of a premier institute in imparting career oriented education in these fields.

Eligibility Criteria at Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technologies

• Candidates must secure 55% in their Higher Secondary Examination in order to apply at the University
• For postgraduate courses, the candidate must secure a minimum of 50% in their Higher Secondary Examination as well as the undergraduate course they have pursued prior to the course they wish to pursue presently
• SC/ST students must secure 50% in their Higher Secondary Examination in order to apply at the University
• The student must have studied the subject he/she wants to pursue in his/her graduation/postgraduation  prior to admissions

• The vacancy of seats for the particular course
• The difficulty level of the question paper/ competitive examination
• The average marks scored by students in the competitive examination/ Higher Secondary examination
• The number of people who have passed in the competitive examination/Higher Secondary Examination

Hostel Facilities at Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technologies

• There are separate hostels for boys as well as girls
• The rooms are spacious and maintained in a hygienic manner
• There is a medical center within the hostel to assist students in case of medical emergencies
• The is power backup and ample water supply

• The mess is kept clean and maintained by a separate college staff
• Girls’ hostel is located within the campus and has facilities for indoor games.
• Special arrangements have been made for safety, security and privacy of the girls residing in the hostel.
• Boys’ hostels are located at a short distance from the campus and has facilities for outdoor games like badminton, volleyball and cricket.
