New Guidelines for CBSE Class 10 Students 2024-25

Every student studying in class 10th must go through the CBSE guidelines carefully. Following are the New Guidelines for CBSE Class 10 Students 2024-25.

• As per the CBSE guidelines for class 10, only 24 will be allowed in a room while appearing for the exam. Moreover, 2 centre superintendents will also be present in the room.
• The authorities will use modern data analytics, external flying squads, and CCTV cameras to prevent unfair means or malpractices.
• CBSE will cancel the 2 term test system and resume the previous class 10 board exam pattern. 
• Candidates must adhere to the COVID-19 safety measures like wearing marks, maintaining social distancing, using sanitisers, etc.
• One must reach the test centre at least an hour before the exam starts to avoid last-minute hassles.

CBSE Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme for Class 10

The CBSE board has introduced a set of revised guidelines, the CBSE Class 10 Students 2024-25 will have to solve questions based on problem solving and practical thinking. Provided below are the details related to the CBSE test pattern and marking scheme for Class 10 2024-25.

• Every test paper will have a duration of 3 hours.
• The paper will include various types of questions. These include situation-based, short-answer, case-based, long-answer, and open-ended questions.
• Each subject will be worth 100 marks. The theory section will carry 80 marks, and the practicals/internal assessments will be worth 20 marks.
• The type of questions in the theory papers will be of the following type. Candidates can also check out the weightage for each kind of question.
• Very Short Answer Questions: 1 mark each 
• Short Answer Type Questions I: 2 marks each
• Short Answer Type Questions II: 3 marks each 
• Value-based Questions: 4 marks

CBSE Class 10 Guidelines for Students and Teachers

CBSE provided new rules and regulations for class 10th board exams. Following are the guidelines for teachers and students.

• Teachers, students, and other staff members need to compulsorily wear masks and hand gloves.
• Students are allowed to bring hand sanitisers to maintain hygiene.
• It is mandatory for students to follow social distancing instructions. They must keep a distance of at least 6 feet from others at the test centre.

CBSE 10th Result 2025

The board will announce the result for CBSE 10th board exams tentatively by June 2025. Candidates can check their results online at cbse.gov.in or cbseresults.nic.in.

Details like hall ticket number, school number, roll number, birth date, and school centre number will be required by students to access their results. The CBSE 10th result will include the details of students along with the marks obtained by them.
