CUET Domain Subjects 2025 include Accountancy, Agriculture, Anthropology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Computer Science/ Informatics Practices, Engineering, Graphics, Entrepreneurship, Environmental Studies, Visual Arts and many more. There will be a total of 29 CUET Domain Subjects in 2025, including the two newly added subjects by the authorities, i.e., Fashion Studies (Code: 328) and Tourism (Code: 329).
A maximum of six subjects from each of the three portions (two languages, three domain subjects, and one general test) may be chosen by the candidates. In 2025, candidates will have the option to select their preferred subject when completing the CUET online form.
The conducting authority has released the CUET 2025 exam date, and students can check the CUET eligibility criteria.
The CBT version of the CUET 2025 exam is expected to be scheduled to take place from May 2025. The CUET admit card and notification slip will provide the exam time and number of shifts.

What is a Domain-Specific Subject in CUET 2025?
The primary subjects students must take to be eligible to enrol in a university program for their chosen course are called CUET Domain Subjects. For instance, students must select subjects relevant to their chosen course if they intend to enrol in a university's B.Sc. Mathematics program. It would be Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, etc.
Students will be required to take examinations in domain-specific areas for every course they wish to enrol in. There are a total of 27 domain-specific subjects in the CUET Exam Pattern.

CUET Exam Pattern 2025
Understanding the CUET exam format is essential to passing the test. Understanding the exam pattern is crucial to understanding the subjects that will be covered and how the exam will be structured.
It is essential to grasp the exam format to comprehend the CUET Domain Subjects 2025 better.
English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Odia, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, and Urdu are the thirteen languages in which the CUET exam will be offered.
The paper is divided into three sections altogether. There will be two subsections in Section 1 for each language, primary and secondary.
- Section IA will consist of 50 questions in the 13 languages listed above, 40 of which must be answered. These will comprise vocabulary, literary aptitude, and reading comprehension based on passages.
- The identical kind of questions will also be in Section I.B. Even so, twenty languages will be available: Japanese, Chinese, Russian, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Persian, Arabic, Bodo, Dogri, Manipuri, Nepali, Kashmiri, Konkani, Tibetan, Sindhi, Tibetan, and Sanskrit.
- Students have to score 40 out of 50 on the Domain subjects in CUET found in Section II. Only the Class 12th curriculum will be the basis for the multiple-choice questions (MCQs). There are twenty-seven CUET domain subjects in all.
- Arithmetic, algebra, geometry, mensuration, statistics, general knowledge, general mental ability, numerical ability, quantitative reasoning (simple application of fundamental mathematical concepts), logical reasoning, and analytical reasoning are all included in Section III of the test, which is known as the General Test.
- Students must respond to 50 of the 60 questions in this Section, most of which are easy to answer. Every year, the precise CUET syllabus (number of courses) may vary, although some fundamental subjects always stay the same.

CUET Domain Subjects: How to Map Subjects with Courses?
Candidates must map the CUET domain subjects by university requirements to be considered for admission to the Undergraduate program at CUET-accepting colleges. Students may choose a maximum of six subjects from each of the three divisions.
